Taxpayers should remember impact fee issue when county seeks bonds

Ron Cross' lips are moving again; with a cheap politician, we all know what that means: He's lying. Chairman Mao - oops! I meant Cross; I constantly confuse those two aging, fat, lying dictators with delusions of divinity - has told us we don't need impact fees because it will have no impact on school funding. So we must suppose that the money isn't needed elsewhere.

Taxpayers should keep that in mind when he and his band of toadies come before the voters with their $40 million dollar bond issue.

Apparently, there's no damage that needs to be repaired from their decades-long reign of unrestrained development: No massive erosion, no crumbling roads or bridges, no overstressed water or sewer in the People's Republic of Columbia County. Or so the chairman has just told us.
