Golf tournaments
The Fatz Cafe third annual Spring Golf Classic, a fundraiser for the Jenny Clark Memorial Scholarship Fund, will begin with a shotgun start with unlimited range balls and lunch from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday at the Bartram Trail Golf Club. Swim team tryouts
The Glennwood Gators swim team is seeking swimmers ages 5-18. The team will have its first practice at the Evans Community Recreational Facility, formally Glennwood Pool, on May 15 at 4:05 p.m. Swim team cost is $60 for members and $75 for nonmembers. For information, call (706) 860-6713.
Football camp
The Augusta Christian football program will hold the fifth annual Lions Football Camp on June 5-8 for children in grades 1-8. Cost per camper is $85, which includes daily snacks and drinks along with a camp football and water bottle. To register, call coach Bruce Lane at (706) 863-2905, ext. 142.
Volleyball camp
Augusta Prep's fourth annual Summer Volleyball Camp will be June 12-16. There will be two sessions: Middle School (grades 5-8) from 9 a.m.-noon, and High School (grades 9-12) from 1-4 p.m. The cost is $100 and includes a camp T-shirt. Basketball camp
Final applications are now being evaluated for the Ten Star All-Star Summer Basketball Camp. The camp, which is held at 18 different locations across the nation including Gainesville, Ga., is by invitation only and includes boys and girls ages 10-19. For a free brochure call (704) 373-0873.

Summer sports camps
Aquinas High School is offering summer sports camps for pupils entering grades 5-8. The school will offer Basketball Camp (June 5-9), Baseball Camp (June 12-15), Cheerleading Camp (June 19-22), Volleyball Camp (June 26-30) and Soccer Camp (July 10-14). Limited space is available and cost of each camp is $100. Soccer camp cost is $115.

Rowing camp
The Augusta Rowing Club Junior Program is holding a Learn to Row camp at the boathouse in Augusta on June 19-23 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
