Music Man on stage

Meredith Wilson's The Music Man will be performed at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and at 3 p.m. May 7 as part of the grand opening of the new Columbia County Library and Performing Arts Center. Early Mother's Day

The American Legion Auxiliary Unit 192, in Evans, will hold an early Mother's Day supper from 5:30 p.m. Tuesday until the food runs out.

Budget hearing

A public hearing to discuss the 2006-07 fiscal year budget for Columbia County will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Government Center Auditorium in Evans.
