Golf tournaments
- The second annual Daniel E. Hall III Memorial Golf Tournament will take place Saturday at Jones Creek Golf Club with a shotgun start at 2 p.m. All proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Daniel E. Hall III Scholarship Fund, Augusta Area Junior Golf Association and the Greenbrier High School Golf Team. Call (706) 863-3162.
- Kids Restart Inc. will hold its second annual Charity Golf Tournament Drive for Kids on Friday at Gordon Lakeside Golf Course. Proceeds will support the Kids Restart Inc. Visitation Program. Cost for the scramble-format golf tournament is $40 per person, including 18 holes of golf, a cart and food. Hole sponsorships are also available. - The Fatz Cafe third annual Spring Golf Classic, a fund raiser for the Jenny Clark Memorial Scholarship Fund, will begin with a shotgun start with unlimited range balls and lunch from 10 a.m. to noon May 10 at Bartram Trail Golf Club. Wrestling clinic
A Lakeside High School wrestling clinic will take place May 29-31 and feature Olympic medalist Nate Carr Sr. The clinic is limited to the first 50 paid wrestlers and includes lunch. Swimmers wanted

The Augusta Christian Schools football program will hold the fifth annual Lions Football Camp on June 5-8 for children in grades 1-4, and June 12-15 for children in grades 5-8.
