Youth Leadership applications open
Applications are now being accepted for the 2007 class of Youth Leadership Columbia County, open to students entering 10th and 11th grades in fall 2006. Students must be a resident of Columbia County. Applications may be downloaded at www. columbiacountychamber. com. The deadline for entries is at noon April 3.
Women on Paper
The arts group Women on Paper will present the premiere visual arts exhibit at the new Columbia County Library in Evans starting Monday through April 29.
Pupils present 'Cinderella'
Pupils at Brookwood Elementary School will present a musical production of Cinderella in a dinner-theater format at 6:15 p.m. Monday and Tuesday. Tickets, available at the school, are for reserved seating only. Free daytime shows also will be offered at 9 a.m. and 9:40 a.m. Wednesday. K preview at Stevens Creek

AARP Tax-Aide is offering free tax preparation and filing for middle- and low-income residents.
Assistance is available for walk-ins from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Bessie Thomas Community Center, 5913 Euchee Creek Drive, Grovetown (706-556-0308), and from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Morningside Assisted Living, 353 North Belair Road, Evans (706-228-4709), each Tuesday through April 11.
