Learn to ice skate

Women's golf
The Augusta chapter of the Executive Women's Golf Association will kick off its season March 23 at Jones Creek Golf Club. Women interested in networking and expanding their business opportunities through golf are welcome to attend. Cost is $10, payable at the door and includes hors d'oeuvres.
Cheer tryouts
The Georgia Ragin' Bulls will hold cheerleading tryouts on Saturday at Premier Athletics of Augusta. Registration will begin at 3:30 p.m., and tryouts will begin at 4:30 p.m. There will be a $40 tryout fee due on registration. Tryouts are open to serious cheerleaders entering 12th grade and older. Golf tournament
Harlem's third annual Relay for Life Golf Tournament will be held at Three Oaks Golf Course at 8:30 a.m. April 1. The cost will be $40 per person or $160 per team. Proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society. For information, call Jerry Baldwin at 556-6262.
Haydens tryouts
The Haydens All Star Cheerleading Program will hold tryouts for its 2006-07 competition cheerleading squads March 25 at Haydens Cheer Gym, 4300 Evans to Locks Road in Evans. Boys and girls in 12th grade and below are eligible. No experience is necessary. Preparation clinics will be Monday and March 22 at the Cheer Gym. Traveling basketball tryouts

Golf Tournament
The Fatz Cafe third annual Spring Golf Classic, a fundraiser for the Jenny Clark Memorial Scholarship Fund, will begin with a shotgun start with unlimited range balls and lunch from 10 a.m. to noon May 10 at the Bartram Trail Golf Club. Eagle Club banquet
Georgia Southern University Greater Augusta Eagle Club's spring banquet will be held March 24. The banquet will feature former University of Georgia defensive coordinator Brian VanGorder, the Eagles' new head football coach, and a children's program by the university's Center for Wildlife Education.
