Donations of suitcases for foster children show community's caring

I just wanted to write to express my sincere thanks and appreciation to the wonderful community we live in. During the month of February, Georgia Safe, the therapeutic foster care agency that I work for, held a suitcase drive to eliminate the problem of foster children traveling with their belongings stored in trash bags.

The CSRA and Columbia County communities responded to our request with overwhelming support. The donations of suitcases, duffel bags and storage containers just keep coming and I am happy to report that there will never be another foster child leaving from our office without a decent means to transport his or her belongings.

This drive has truly shown me what a caring and socially responsible community I live in. Thanks CSRA!
