Coach seeks members of 1997 champion team

Greenbrier baseball coach Ed Williams is looking for members of the 1997 baseball state championship team. The team will be honored before this season's opening game Monday. Members of the team should call Williams at 650-6040 or 541-9070.

Spirit Creek 5k run

Spirit Creek Educational Forest will hold its second annual Spirit Creek Sprint, a 5k cross-country run, at 9:15 a.m. March 18.

Participation costs $15 in advance or $18 the day of the race. Awards and dogwood seedlings will be given away, and all ages are encouraged to participate.

3-on-3 basketball tournament

The second annual Relay for Life 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament will be held Saturday at Harlem Middle School. All proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society.
