School play

Aquinas events

Band yard sale

The Lakeside High School Band Boosters will hold a yard sale from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 11 in the commons area of the school. The jazz band will perform at 11 a.m. The sale is to raise funds for new uniforms. For information or to donate items for the sale, call Kathy Buckner at 860-4505.

Katrina Cafe

A mentoring and family education program for displaced residents from hurricanes Katrina and Rita is held each Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Communities in Schools at 1132 Druid Park Ave., Augusta. For information, call 774-6600.

Book fair

Greenbrier Elementary School will hold a book fair Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the media center. Family Night will be held from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. The public is invited to participate.

Bible seminar
