Democrats meet

Grovetown Mayor Dennis Trudeau will be the guest speaker at 7 p.m. Monday at the monthly meeting of the Columbia County Democratic Party at the Columbia County Government Complex auditorium in Evans. The meeting will include a discussion on consolidation. Call Scott Nichols at 533-5015.

CPR classes

Miss Harlem pageant deadline

Tuesday is the deadline for applications for the 2006 Miss City of Harlem Scholarship Pageant, to be held Feb. 11 at Harlem High School. Applications are available at the Laurel and Hardy Museum, or by e-mailing pageant Director Alison Harrison at csrapageants@aol.com.

Parents night out

Columbia County Advocates for Special Education (C-CASE PTO) will play host to a Parents Evening Out respite care from 5-8 p.m. Saturday at Evans High School. Cost is $5 per hour. Games and snacks will be provided. Call Rose Mary at 860-9222 after 7 p.m.

Archaeology workshop

Valentines exhibit
