Umpire camp
The CSRA Baseball Umpires Camp, featuring Major League Baseball umpires Marvin Hudson and Fieldin Culbreth, will take place at Westside High School on Jan. 28 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The camp is open to experienced amateur and beginning umpires and includes a GHSA clinic, Dixie certification and USSSA certification. Fastpitch softball tryouts scheduled
The Georgia Rockers 16-Under Fastpitch Softball team is seeking experienced travel ball girls who are college bound. Tryouts will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Patriots Park. For information, call coach David Fearneyhough at 855-8438.

Traveling baseball team needs players
