Math night
North Harlem Elementary School will hold its Math, Science and Technology Night from 6-7:30 p.m. Thursday in the school gym, lunchroom and computer lab. Refreshments will be served.
Blood drive
The Columbia County EMA winter blood drive with Shepeard Blood Center will be held from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Columbia County Government Complex Auditorium. The drive will continue from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday at the Roads and Bridges Department on County Camp Road at Columbia Road in Appling. Call 868-3303.
King celebration

Writers group

Chamber meeting
The Columbia County Chamber of Commerce will hold its inaugural annual meeting at 6 p.m. Jan. 23 at Savannah Rapids Pavilion. The event will honor chamber volunteers and name a small-business person of the year and the first Lifetime Achievement Award winner.
