Fastpitch softball tryouts scheduled

Traveling baseball team needs players
The Grease Lightning 12 and under traveling baseball team is seeking two quality players to complete the roster for the 2006 season. Players must be 12 or under as of May 1, 2006. Call Dean Glover at 868-4530 or Kevin Hunt at 210-0185.
The CSRA Junior Tennis League will hold open registration for the winter/spring team tennis season through Jan. 15. Players ages 8-18 may register by going to www.csratennis.com and in the menu under "Juniors" and "Registration," click on "Player." A USTA membership valid through April 2006 is needed to register. To obtain a USTA membership, go to www.usta.com or call USTA at (800) 990-8782. The league fee is $20 plus a $2 TennisLink fee. League play starts Jan. 29 and ends March 19.
