Greenbrier High Christmas camp

The Greenbrier High School Christmas Baseball Camp will take place Dec. 27-30 for children in third through eighth grades. The camp, run by Greenbrier baseball coach Ed Williams, costs $80 and will be held each day from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. For information, call the school at 650-6040 or Williams at 541-9070.

Traveling baseball team needs players

Junior tennis

The CSRA Junior Tennis League will hold open registration for the winter/spring team tennis season Jan. 1-15. Children ages 8-18 may register by going to www.csratennis.com and in the menu under "Juniors" and "Registration," click on "Player." Participants will need a USTA membership valid through April 2006 to register. To obtain a USTA membership, go to www.usta.com or call USTA at (800) 990-8782. The league fee is $20 plus a $2 TennisLink fee. League play starts Jan. 29 and ends March 19. Baseball players needed

A USSSA 12-and-under baseball program is seeking players for year-round travel ball across the South. Players cannot turn 13 before May 1. Commitment is required. Tryouts will be held at 2 p.m. Jan. 8 and Jan. 22 at Riverside Park. For information, call 267-4066 or 840-1066.
