Red Cross classes
The Augusta Red Cross is offering the following classes at its office at 1322 Ellis St.:
- Adult CPR, 6-9 p.m., Jan. 3,16 and 30; cost is $35.
- Infant/child CPR, 6-9 p.m., Jan. 4 and 17; cost is $35.
- First aid, 6-9 p.m., Jan. 5,18 and 31; cost is $35.
- CPR/professional rescuer review class from 6-9:30 p.m. Jan. 19 at the Red Cross office, 1322 Ellis St. Cost for the review is $45.
A baby sitter's training class also will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Jan. 21 at the Fort Gordon Youth Center. Participants must be 11-15 years of age; cost is $25.

Fundraiser at Lynx
The Augusta Ronald McDonald House will hold Pack the House for the House night at 7:05 p.m. March 18 at the Augusta Lynx game at the Augusta-Richmond County Civic Center. Tickets are available at the Ronald McDonald House at 938 Greene St., or by calling 724-5901.
Preschool openings
