Volunteers needed

The Salvation Army of Augusta is seeking volunteers to help with their annual Christmas Toy Shop from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and Thursday. Volunteers can sign up for full-day or five-hour shifts, and must be 18 or older. For information, call 826-7933.

Christmas services

- Bible Fellowship Church, which meets in the Belair Conference Center, 4083 S. Belair Road, will hold a Christmas morning breakfast at 10 a.m., followed by a service at 10:30 a.m. featuring bluegrass music and Christmas carols. For information, call 651-1971.

Shoe drive

The Georgia Podiatric Medical Association is sponsoring a collection of new and used shoes for the homeless through Jan. 3. Donations may be brought to any Augusta area podiatrist's office. For information, call 724-0586.

The annual meeting of Martinez-Columbia Fire Rescue will be at 7 p.m. Jan. 3 at fire headquarters, 3910 Desoto Drive, Martinez. For information, call 863-7745.

ADHD Support

The MCG Children's Medical Center will hold an ADHD Support Network event from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Jan. 3 in the Family Resource Library. Guest speaker Sheryl Irwin, inclusion coordinator of the Child Care Resource and Referral Services of East Georgia in Augusta, will lead the discussion of issues related to ADHD.
