Community should honor Confederate dead with high-profile marker

It is high time we honor the Confederate soldiers who gave all to defend our country, the Confederate States of America, against the yankee invader.

Columbia County's monument to the Confederate soldiers should be located in a place of prominence, complete with the Confederate Battle Flag. It is also high time we stop letting the NAACP (National Association for the Annihlation of Confederate People), the liberal Hollywood media and the politically correct public school system define what the Confederate Battle Flag stands for.

I do not fault the ignorant for what they may feel about the Confederate Battle Flag; considering the amount of time and untold millions of dollars the aforementioned groups have spent on lies, misinformation and propaganda, it is understandable.

I do have a problem with the people who know the truth but do not stand up for it because it may jeopardize their personal gain.

Jefferson Davis said, "Truth crushed into the ground is truth still, and one day will rise again."

May God bless you all and may you all have a Merry Christmas.
