Donations sought

Boy Scouts of America Pack 620 will march in the Martinez-Evans Christmas Parade at 2 p.m. today in support of Toys for Tots. They will march alongside a float carrying toys, collect any toys donated by spectators and deliver them to Toys for Tots.

Fire meeting

North Columbia Fire and Rescue will hold a meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Eubank Blanchard Community Center to discuss the future of the department's property as its territory is merged with Martinez-Columbia Fire Rescue.

Garden seminar

The Columbia County Extension Service monthly Gardening at Lunch series will discuss growing muscadines at 12:10 p.m. Wednesday in the auditorium of the Columbia County Government Complex in Evans. Call 868-3413 for more information.

Parent orientation

Harlem High School counselors will hold parent orientation for rising ninth graders from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday in the school auditorium. The orientation will provide information for students who are moving from middle school to high school. For information, call 556-5980.

Toy sale benefit

Georgia Parent Academy, at 122 Old Evans Road, Martinez, will hold a Discovery Toy sale from 1-7 p.m. Friday to benefit the Child Enrichment Shelter. Call 868-0077.
