Holiday stories

Gibbs Library will hold a holiday story time and craft hour for children at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 2. Participants may wear pajamas. Registration is required. For information, call 863-1946.

Santa's gift shop

Vendors are needed for the gift shop of Brookwood Elementary School's annual Breakfast with Santa, to be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Dec. 3. For information, call 650-1844.

Thanksgiving dinner

City of Life Ministries Inc., at 5220 Wrightsboro Road in Grovetown, will offer free Thanksgiving meals at the church from 2 to 5 p.m. Thanksgiving Day. For information, call 854-9000.

Evans planning

Christmas hayride

Christmas events

Craft vendors are being sought for Columbia County's Christmas tree lighting festivities, which begin with Santa's arrival at 4:30 p.m. Dec. 3 and end with the tree-lighting at 6:30 p.m. at the Justice Center in Evans. For information, call 312-7194.
