Recreation basketball sign-ups

The Columbia County Recreation Department is holding 2006 basketball registration through Saturday for boys ages 6-15 and girls ages 6-13. The age-control date is Jan. 1, 2006. Registration takes place at the Patriots Park Administrative Office only. Registration forms are available online at www.columbiacountyga.gov. For information call 863-7523.

Semi-pro football tryouts

Ice-skating clinic

A free ice-skating clinic will be held three Sundays in December at the Augusta Ice Sports Center. Activities will take place from 6:45 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. Dec. 4, Dec. 11 and Dec. 18 at 1249 Augusta West Parkway. For information, call 863-0061.
