Save the Columns will discuss the rescue of the Evans pillars and arch at a public meeting at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 7 at Evans Middle School.

Art in the Barn II

Fort luncheon

The Gordon Club on 19th Street will be the site of a general membership luncheon for the local chapters of the Association of the U.S. Army, Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association, and the Signal Corps Regimental Association at 11:30 a.m. Monday. The speaker will be Brig. Gen. Randolph Strong, commanding general, United States Army Signal Center and Fort Gordon. Tickets must be purchased by Thursday. Call 793-3500.

Holiday bazaar

Windmill Plantation will hold a holiday bazaar from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 19 at the Windmill Plantation Clubhouse on Windmill Lane off William Few Parkway. Children may take pictures with Santa from 10 a.m. to noon. Call 210-4235.
