Editor:
Many in the liberal press condemn our high-ranking military for the abuses of a few soldiers in Iraq. Let's face it; the reasons these soldiers were abusive lies within each of them personally, with their parents and with our society as a whole - not with our loyal military leaders and men and women in harm's way.
From birth to adulthood, society no longer holds children accountable for anything.
Society actually condones abuses and violence: Look at the education our children are receiving from TV shows, movies, computer games and music.
In school, we can't even teach our children the differences between right and wrong because it may have religious overtones.
How, then, does anyone expect our military to correct our society's sins in a few months of training? The real question is, why so few abuses?
