Pumpkin sale fund-raiser

Farm Bureau annual dinner

The Columbia County Farm Bureau will hold its annual dinner at 6 p.m. Thursday in the Woodmen of the World building in Harlem. Tickets for the barbecue dinner cost $3. For information, call 556-6258.

Pumpkin patch

Marvin United Methodist Church's pumpkin patch, with pumpkins, mums and hay for sale for fall decorating, is open from noon-8 p.m. Monday-Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturdays and 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sundays through Oct. 31 at the church, located on Wheeler Road at Belair Road. Byrd Family anniversary

Jesse McReynolds and The Virginia Boys will perform at 10 a.m. Sunday in celebration of Darvin "Papa" Byrd's formation of The Byrd Family gospel singers.
