Halloween Regatta

The Augusta Sailing Club's 51st annual Halloween Regatta continues at 10 a.m. today. More than 125 sailboats are expected for the event.

Races can be viewed from Lake Springs or West Dam parks.

Golf tournament registration

The 12th Annual Bert Yancey Memorial Golf Tournament will be held Monday at the River Club course in North Augusta. The event costs $600 for a foursome or $150 per individual player.

The Columbia County Lacrosse Club is seeking high school athletes who want to play lacrosse this fall for a county team that will play other Georgia teams. Players new to the game are welcome.
