Riverview United Methodist Church is a tiny church on Furys Ferry Road. Our congregation is small, with about 50 members, but we do have a big heart. Because our church has a very limited budget, we could not just write a check to help the victims of Katrina.

With our pastor, Pierce Norman, and with the direction of Ed and Kathy Rawls, we were able to compile 50 flood buckets to send to the flood area.

The flood buckets contained laundry detergent, dish detergent, bug spray and things like that which could be used for clean-up.

Our contribution was combined with Wesley United Methodist Church for delivery. We wanted people to realize that regardless of the number or the size of a church, we all can help.
