Revival services

Clifford Memorial Presbyterian Church, on East Robinson Avenue in Grovetown, will hold revival services at 7 p.m. Monday-Wednesday. Bob Parham, from Belle Terrace Presbyterian Church of Augusta, will be the guest speaker.

Gospel Water events

The following events are being held in October at Gospel Water Branch Baptist Church, 703 Furys Ferry Road:

- The Usher's Ministry will celebrate its anniversary at the 10:45 a.m. service Oct. 9, with the Rev. Byron C. Williams of Allen Chapel Baptist Church in Waynesboro, Ga., as guest speaker.

- The Health Care Ministry will hold a health fair from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 15, with representatives from the American Heart Association, the Columbia County Sheriff's Office, Martinez-Columbia Fire and Rescue and Gold Cross EMS. CPR classes will be provided for children and youth.

- The annual fall carnival will be held from 6-8 p.m. Oct. 29, with food, fun and games.

Guitar concert

Ecuadoran guitarist Rodrigo Rodriguez will perform at the 10:45 a.m. worship service of First Baptist Church of Augusta on Walton Way Extension on Oct. 16. Rodriguez also will offer a master class at 4 p.m. Oct. 15 at the church. Cost for the session is $5. For information, call 731-5360.

Christian singles

The Christian Social Association for Single Adults sponsors dances from 8-11 p.m. each Saturday at Westside High School on Patriots Way in Augusta. Admission is $5 for members, $7 for others and includes dance lessons from 7-8 p.m. For information, call Don Stephens at 737-4944.

40 Days campaign

First Baptist Church of Evans will begin a 40 Days of Purpose Campaign based on Rick Warren's book The Purpose Driven Life, with coffee, juice and doughnuts at 9:30 a.m. Saturday. For information on the series, call 863-1228.

Whiteoak meeting

The fall camp meeting at Whiteoak Campground will be held Oct. 15-16, with morning services at 11 a.m. and evening services at 7 p.m. with the Rev. Bill Childers. Saturday breakfast will be at 8:30 a.m. with Merri Beth Stratton, and Ansley and Jimmy Barnett will provide hand-bell music at the 11 a.m. Saturday service. Yard sale benefit

The children and youths of Mosaic United Methodist Church will hold a yard sale from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday to raise money for hurricane relief efforts. The sale will take place, rain or shine, at the Mosaic office, at 476 Columbia Industrial Boulevard across from Howard Lumber in Evans. For information, call Jeff Hartley at 267-2322.

Fish fry and bazaar

Martinez United Methodist Church, at 3614 Washington Road, will hold a bazaar and fish fry from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. For information, call the church office at 863-6541.
