Halloween Regatta
The Augusta Sailing Club will hold its 51st annual Halloween Regatta Oct. 8-9, with races beginning at 12:30 p.m. Oct. 8 and 10 a.m. Oct. 9.
More than 125 sailboats are expected for the event. Races can be viewed from Lake Springs or West Dam parks.
Lacrosse players needed
The Columbia County Lacrosse Club is seeking high school athletes who want to play lacrosse this fall for a county team that will play other Georgia teams. New players are welcome. For information, call Jeff at 854-1908.
