Crash kills woman

Members of Martinez-Columbia Fire Rescue load the body of Phillipia Chanel Sanders, 24, of Evans, into an ambulance. Sanders was killed in a single-car wreck Tuesday afternoon on Washington Road near William Few Parkway. Columbia County sheriff's deputies said the vehicle veered off the road and flipped after Sanders overcorrected. Authorities are trying to determine the cause of the crash.
