Where were you on Sept. 11, 2001?

Q: Where were you on Sept. 11, 2001?

A: "I was in my apartment in North Augusta."

Q: What do you re-member feeling that day?

A: "I saw it on television and thought it was a movie. ... The thought of people trapped inside (the towers) brought tears to my eyes. I have family in New York. I was in disbelief for the most part. It reminded me of Pearl Harbor."

Q: Where were you on Sept. 11, 2001?

A: I was in Trion, Ga., at home watching television. I was watching Little House on the Prairie, the episode when Mary's baby died in the fire."

Q: What do you re-member feeling that day?

A: "It was so heartbreaking. It ended in fire and destruction, and it was heartbreaking that it happened to us."

Q: Where were you on Sept. 11, 2001?

A: "I was in Denver, Colo., visiting my daughter."

Q: What do you re-member feeling that day?

A: "I didn't go through the mystery. By the time I tuned in, they knew airplanes were crashing into the towers. ... It was a surreal feeling. You know what's happening, you see what's happening, but still it's hard to believe what's happening."

A: "I was working at AAMCO Transmissions when my father called from Philadelphia and told me to turn on the television."

Q: What do you remember feeling that day?

A: "Just a total amazement. Probably, bewilderment might be a better word."

Q: Where were you on Sept. 11, 2001?

A: "I was in Charleston at MUSC (the Medical University of South Carolina)."

Q: What do you remember feeling that day?

A: "Numb. It hadn't really sunk in what happened seeing it on TV. I was a paramedic for over 10 years. I went immediately into thinking about all the people hurt, getting them out and the scope of it all.
