Have you ever considered that, perhaps, the dreams you have are directly related to what your subconscious is wishing?
Oh, my gosh, I've turned into Dr. Freud. Anyway, I've been having a lot of weird dreams lately, and it started me wondering if these events might truly be what I want and didn't know it.
For instance, last week I dreamt that my best friend, Susy, and I went on a cruise all by ourselves. No husbands, no kids, no nothing. Everything was all right at first, but then everybody started speaking to us in French. It just happened overnight. One evening at dinner we were ordering in English. The next morning the menus were in French, and nobody understood us at all. What's even worse is, by the third or fourth day, Susy started speaking French, too.
Does this mean I have an overwhelming need to vacation in Paris? Could be. Don't think it will ever happen, but could be.
I am an animal lover, especially dogs. One dream had me sitting on the beach when at least 20 puppies ran towards me and started playing. It was great. They'd run towards the surf, get wet, run back to me, spray sand and water all over and smother me with puppy kisses.
Then, all of a sudden, they started running towards my house, which was right on the beach, ran inside and demolished it. None of them were house trained, and they all had at least a pound of sand on their paws. The puppies were a good thing, but the house on the beach was a great thing. Having the puppies ruin the thick white carpet on my house at the beach was a disaster.
Does this mean I will eventually have a beach-front home, or does it mean that sometime in the near future a hoard of puppies will invade my property?
One time I was kidnapped while sleeping. The criminals all had on black hoods and were speaking some language I'd never heard before. For some reason, I knew I was supposed to interpret what they were saying and report back to Pierce Brosnan as he was the agent in charge. I escaped after deciphering all the information needed to save the world. You should have seen all the karate moves I had.
In order to maintain my respectability in Columbia County, I can't really describe my meeting with Pierce, AKA Agent 007. Suffice it to say, he was very pleased and I woke up much too soon.
have been a singer in a nightclub, a senior FBI agent, a world traveler looking for adventures and, my personal favorite, a lead dancer in a Broadway musical. I now want to go to bed earlier every night and never want to wake up in the morning. But I do and, as the case with most of us, go back to my every day life without Pierce, without puppies and with absolutely no musical talent. Go figure.
