Pupils in Amanda Varner's pre-K class at Westmont Elementary School learn a new letter each week and do projects with words starting with that letter. For the letter "A," Varner and paraprofessional Denise Lowe taught the word "appreciate," and the class showed its appreciation for Principal Tami Flowers and Assistant Principal Revelle Cox. The class celebrated the event with a pizza party. The pupils also made a book, apple tree and certificate to present to Flowers and Cox.
