Evans park, arena, consolidation seem like ideas from 'spendaholic'

With each day that passes I cannot stop thinking that in a past life I must have been a man, and Ron Cross had to have been my ex-wife. It seems to me that Cross spends his time looking for new and very different ways to spend my money. What is his problem, and why has he become such a spendaholic?

Does anyone have any idea why Evans would need a $17-20 million park? Is it just too far for Cross's friends to drive a few miles down the road to Patriots Park? Is Patriots Park too old and worn out now to impress the folks at Money magazine?

Does Cross have a close friend or a relative with some high-end real estate that he/she is looking to unload, and Cross is using every hare-brained idea that he can come up with to get Columbia County to buy it?

Surely, a sports arena, (consolidating) Columbia County and a new park have more than just my knickers in a wad! Am I the only person that is having a problem with these issues? Help me, please. Am I overreacting? I honestly do not think that I am.
