Golf meeting
The Ladies Golf Association at Jones Creek will hold its annual Tee Off meeting at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 7 at Jones Creek Clubhouse. The LGA is open to golfers from beginners through advanced. Membership in Jones Creek Golf Club is not required.
The LGA offers weekly women's days, tournaments, clinics, couples play and more.

Baseball tryouts
The Grease Lightning 12 and under baseball team will hold tryouts Aug. 28. Players must be 12 or under as of May 1, 2006.
