Harlem bingo
Harlem Woman's Club will hold bingo from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the club, 170 W. Milledgeville Road. Proceeds will go to benefit building maintenance for the clubhouse.
Legal help
Georgia Legal Services Program staff will be in Columbia County to meet with senior citizens wanting free legal help from 11:30 to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Grovetown Senior Center, 103 W. Dance showcase

Red Cross training
The Augusta Red Cross is seeking volunteer instructors to teach baby sitter classes to children ages 11 to 15. An instructor training class will be held 6 p.m. Aug. 29-30 at Abilene Baptist Church in Martinez.
Volunteer instructors are needed to teach CPR, AED and First Aid. An instructor training class will be held from 6 to 10 p.m. Sept. 6-9. For information, call the Red Cross office at 724-8481, ext. 208.
UGA tickets
The Columbia County 4-H Office has sold out of tickets for the Sept. 3 season-opener football game between the University of Georgia and Boise State. Tickets, however, may be obtained by writing Tino Johnson at tno@uga.edu or calling the State 4-H Office in Athens at (706) 542-4444.
