Archaeology meeting

The Augusta Archaeological Society meets 8 p.m. Friday at Augusta Technical College, building 100, Room 111. Dr. Albert Goodyear will be guest speaker. Girl Scout recruitment

A Girl Scout recruitment and registration rally will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Stevens Creek Elementary School. Opportunities for girls and leaders include camping, crafts, sports, swimming, theater, trip and scholarships. The rally is being sponsored by the Lakeside Service Unit. Student orientation
