Brookwood assistant principal works for 'best interest of the children'

As a parent of children who attend Brookwood Elementary School, I have a message that I ask you to please pass to the public. Assistant Principal Barbara Gleitsmann is a wonderful person who has always tried to do right by her children. I am sure that she did what she felt was in the best interest of the children.

I have had many sensitive issues that Gleitsmann handled with the utmost respect and professionalism. Brookwood would not be what it is without her love, respect, care and concern for all children.

I pray that Columbia County will not terminate her position based on this one incident. Even though these charges have been brought against her, she still has my 100 percent support. I think no less of her in any way because we, the public, do not know the whole story!
