Roman Pulley, in a unanimous decision, won the Georgia Golden Gloves Championship for the 11-year-old, 65-pound weight division. This is Roman's first Golden Gloves win and second state championship; he and his brother, Noah, won the Georgia State Championship in 2003. Roman, a fifth-grade pupil at Brookwood Elementary School, is part of the Augusta Boxing Club.
