Chamber breakfast

The Columbia County Chamber of Commerce will hold its "Not Just Coffee" meeting 7:30 a.m. Aug. 9 at the Center for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at 671 N. Belair Road. The topic of discussion will be Maintain Your Brain: Alzheimers's Awareness.

Trinity Baptist Preschool, at 4594 Columbia Road, has openings available for the 2005-06 school year. The program is open to 2-through 4-year-olds.

Safe Kids East Central at the Medical College of Georgia Children's Medical Center and Jones Driver Education will hold a free driving training session from 4 to 6 p.m. Aug. 20.
