Trees available

The Georgia Forestry Commission's Columbia County Unit is accepting seedling orders for the 2005-06 planting season. Landowners are urged to submit orders early for good selection. For a complete price list for pine and hardwood seedlings, call 556-3962.

Water blast

Mosaic United Methodist Church will hold a Water Blast from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the church office, 476 Columbia Industrial Blvd. in Evans. The event will feature a water slide, wacky water games, hot dogs and watermelon. The event is open to children ages 5 to 10. For information, call 650-9187.

The annual homecoming celebration at Young Harris College will take place Thursday through Saturday.
