Water blast

Mosaic United Methodist Church will hold a Water Blast from 5 to 9 p.m. July 28 at the church office at 476 Columbia Industrial Blvd. in Evans. The event will feature a water slide, water games, hot dogs and watermelon. The event is open to children ages 5 to 10. For information, call 650-9187.

Photo workshop

A Nature Photography Workshop will be held 9 a.m. July 30 at Phinizy Swamp Nature Park. Participants are asked to bring a tripod, film, camera and other equipment. The cost is $3 for members and $5 for nonmembers. To register by July 28, call 828-2109.

Church anniversary

First Baptist Church of Evans will hold 75th anniversary events starting at 6 p.m. July 31 with an ice cream social in the Fellowship Hall. The Blackwood Brothers quartet will perform in the sanctuary at 7 p.m. Aug. 11, and special services will be held starting at 9:30 a.m. Aug. 14. Call 863-1228.

Charity game
