Red Cross training

The Augusta Red Cross will hold training sessions for adult, infant, child and professional rescuer CPR, first aid and safety today through July 27.

Gardening at lunch

The Columbia County Extension Service will hold a lunch seminar from 12:10 to 12:45 p.m. today in the auditorium of the Government Complex Building A at Ronald Reagan Drive in Evans.

Chamber event

The city of Harlem and Regions Bank will hold a Columbia County Chamber of Commerce SuCCess Columbia County Style networking event at 5 p.m. Monday at the Laurel and Hardy Museum, 225 N. Louisville St. in Harlem.

The event is free for chamber members and $10 for non-members.

Canal festival

Columbia County's Summertime on the Canal will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 23, with festivities including eating contests, a rubber duck race, children's games, Petersburg boat rides and more.
