Terry and Joyce Bowers went to the Korean Demilitarized Zone in May while visiting their son Timothy, who is in the U.S. Army Signal Corps stationed in South Korea. The photo is taken at a U.N. guard post overlooking the site of the 1953 cease fire. North Korean territory is in the background only a few hundred meters away.
