"They are going to receive a warm welcome," he said.
"If people are looking for a congregation that's family oriented, Advent is a good place to start a good church life and walk with the Lord."
What do you believe is the biggest issue facing the faithful today?
"I think there's just the continued need to keep God's word relevant in our daily life, with all the pressures and struggles in our life," Lash said.
