Founded: Keener said the church was built on its current site in 1995.

Known for: "We are Christ-centered, mission-driven and spirit-led," Keener said. "We are mostly young families, and we do an annual adult and youth mission trip to Jamaica. We are also known for our youth ministry, where we have a full-time youth minister. ... We have a program called LOGOS that meets during the week for pre-K through high school (pupils). That program includes Bible study, worship and the arts, which meets weekly. We also have a lot of adult education classes, which includes ALPHA, 40 days of purpose, and women and men's Bible studies. We also work with Mosaic United Methodist Church with their Celebrate Recovery Program. Their group meets here on Fridays."

Music: The church offers a gamut of music styles, Keener said. The church uses instruments including an organ, baby grand piano, electronic keyboards, guitars and drums.

What would you say to someone who's thinking about giving your church a try?

"I would say come visit us and I think they will be impressed by the friendliness and the caring nature of the congregation. If they are looking for a congregation with a lot of children's programs and educational and mission opportunities, our congregation would meet their needs," he said. "The diversity of worship styles offers something for everyone."

What do you believe is the biggest issue facing the faithful today?

"I think it would be the temptation to relativize their faith. What that means is that everything is measured by my will, my desires, instead of God's will and His desire for me."
