Church talent show

The "Catholic Idol" pasta dinner and talent show will be held at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church gym. This will be the last event held in the gym before the church's move to Columbia County. For tickets and information, call 863-4956.

Summer program

The Mother's Day Out Summer Program at West Acres Baptist Church still has openings for children ages 18 months to 5 years old. The program is on Tuesdays and Thursdays. There also are additional openings for the fall program. For information, call Helen at 863-2542.

Aerobics class

Harlem Kids Club

The Laurel and Hardy Museum Kids Club in Harlem is being held from 2-5 p.m. each Monday , with crafts, games, snacks and fun. For information, call 556-0401.

Theology seminar

A Theology of Star Wars seminar will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday at the office of Church of the Holy Comforter, 1105 Fury's Lane in Martinez. The seminar will explore the major theological themes of the Star Wars saga, including Revenge of the Sith. For information, call 210-1133.

Church concert

Singer-songwriter Archie Jordan will perform at 10:30 a.m. Sunday at Bible Fellowship Church, which meets in the Belair Conference Center at 4083 Belair Road. For information, call 651-1971.
