Brie Anne Wells (left) and Dr. Bryan Joseph Wells, the daughter and son of Dr. and Mrs. Larry Wells of Martinez and former graduates of Lakeside High School, and Bryan's wife Jill Wells all graduated from MCG on May 13. Brie has a BS in Nursing and Bryan and Jill have a doctorate in Medicine.

Sana Hashmi, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Shariq Hashmi, graduated as the 2005 Lakeside High School co-salutatorian. Sana was the president of FCLA, the Beta Club and SADD, as well as a member of the Student Council Executive Board. In addition, she was the secretary of Young Republicans. Sana has served on the Columbia County Youth Leadership Board, the Augusta Chronicle Extreme Board and the MCG Teen Board. She is an active member of the Islamic Society of Augusta. She was named a National AP Scholar with Distinction. Sana will be attending the honors program at the University of Georgia and hopes to become a plastic and reconstructive surgeon.
