"It looks just like the other one, except everything looks newer," said longtime Rhinehart's customer Stan Johnson, of Harlem.
Johnson said he would start making the Evans restaurant his regular hangout because it's closer to home. It was only by chance that he noticed the restaurant was open for business.
"I was just driving by to go to a friend's house when I saw it was open," he said. "I went to my friend's (house), then we called some other friends and came up here."
Co-owner Amy Bailey blamed construction delays for a behind-schedule opening of the restaurant at 3051 N. Belair Road.
"So much of what makes a Rhinehart's a Rhinehart's is the look of the place," she said. "We wanted to make sure everything was just as it is supposed to be."
There are some slight changes, however, such as televisions in the bathrooms.

"Craig (Bailey's husband and co-owner) was always complaining that when he was watching a game at the other restaurant that as soon as he went to the bathroom something good would happen," she said. "Now, he won't miss anything."
Employees of Rhinehart's will have staggered schedules so they can work at both restaurants, Bailey said.
"My employees have strong relationships with each other and our customers," she said. "By scheduling them to work at both locations, they can maintain those relationships. That's part of the charm of Rhinehart's."
