Football camp

The fifth annual Football-R-Us football camp will be held to help with conditioning and fundamentals. The camp is July 19, 21, 23, 26, 28 and 30 at 6-8 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays and 10 a.m.-noon Saturdays. Cost is $50. For more information, call 863-0027, ext. 217; 868-8046; or 863-4978.

Baseball showcase

The Georgia Dugout Club and USA Baseball will hold the annual Georgia Underclassman Showcase for sophomores through seniors. The showcase, which includes pro and college scouts, will be June 28 at Augusta State University. Cost is $75 and should be paid on site. For information, visit www.georgia dugoutclub.com.

Soccer Camp

TST Soccer will hold soccer camps at Patriots Park in June and July. The camp for ages 5-14 will run from June 13-16 from 9-11 a.m. A second camp for that age group will run from July 18-21 at the same time daily. A select skills camp for advanced players ages 8-18 will run from July 18-21 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. For more information, contact Donny Rogers at 294-5033.

Volleyball camp

Augusta Prep will hold its annual summer volleyball camp from June 14-17. The middle school session will last from 9 a.m-noon and the high school session is from 1-4 p.m. The cost is $80. For more information, call Rich Bland at 863-1906, ext. 361.

Baseball camp

Harlem High will play host to its annual baseball camp Monday through June 10 from 9 a.m. to noon. Cost is $50. The camp will be at the Harlem Recreation Field. For information, call Jimmie Lewis at 556-5980.

Baseball camp

Evans High School will hold its summer baseball camp for children ages 5-14 from Monday to June 10 and June 20-24, 9 a.m.-noon. Cost is $85 per child per session. For more information, contact Ricky Beale at 868-3663, ext. 240.

Volleyball camp

Evans High will offer a summer volleyball camp June 27-30 from 6-8 p.m. The cost is $50 and is for sixth- through ninth-grade girls. For more information, call C.C. Armstrong at 863-1198.

Baseball tryouts

Softball tryouts

Volleyball camp

The Greenbrier volleyball team will hold its annual volleyball camp Monday through June 9 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. The camp costs $65 and is for girls in the sixth through ninth grade. For more information, call 650-6043, ext. 220.

Basketball camp

Lakeside Middle will play host to the Sure-Shot Basketball Camp for boys entering grades six to nine and boys and girls entering grades two to five. The older players' camp will be Monday through June 10 and June 13-17, 1-4:30 p.m. Cost is $80. The younger players will have their camp from 9 a.m.-noon Monday through June 10, June 13-17 and July 18-22. Cost is $75. For information, call Dave Pitock at 855-6900.

Soccer tryouts

The Columbia County Patriots will hold tryouts for the fall 2005 season for all players. Under-13 and Under-19 tryouts will be held June 13, 14, 16 and 20. Rainout dates will be June 21 and 23.
