Choral performance
The Columbia County Choral Society will present Messiah, Moses and More at 7:30 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church of Evans, at Washington and Belair roads. The final performance of the season will be dedicated to director emeritus Jacques Kearns, in whose honor the society is developing a scholarship. Tickets cost $8, or $6 for students or seniors. Summer camp
The Shiloh Comprehensive Community Center, Inc., located at 1635 15th St. in Augusta, will hold an intergenerational and tutorial summer day camp from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday from June 6 through July 15. Children ages 7 to 12 can attend. For information, call 738-0089.
Road closing
Harlem-Grovetown Road at Euchee Creek will be closed beginning June 3 and will reopen June 6. The city of Grovetown will be installing a sewer line while the road is closed. For information, call Todd Baldwin, director of water and sewerage, at 860-5138.
