Holiday closings

The Columbia County Baker Place Road Landfill will be closed May 28 in honor of Memorial Day. It will reopen at 6 a.m. May 30. Call 868-3366.

Mystery theater

Stage III, Columbia County's Community Theatre, will present a matinee of Murder at Cafe Noir by David Landau, a comic tribute to the Humphrey Bogart movies of the 1940s, at 3 p.m. today.
